Job Opportunities and Post-Study Work Options

Part-Time Jobs:
In Ireland, non-EEA students are permitted to work part-time if they hold a Stamp-2 Visa. (Note that although Stamp 2A is also a study- visa, it does not permit working part-time). Students can work up to 20 hours per week during the academic semester and 40 hours per week during official holidays.
On average, non-EU international students in Germany are allowed up to 28 hours per week during the academic term. Students may work full-time, without restrictions during official semester breaks. To work in Ireland and Germany after graduation, non-EEA students need to have completed a degree from a recognized university from that country. In Ireland, students can work 40 hours per week.
